Built on more than 35 years of proven technology and the most modern, state-of-the-art WiFi app control, the Power Pet PX-2 WiFi Wall Mounted smart automatic pet door gives larger dogs intelligent access with exceptional security and weather protection. Exclusive Smart Detect™ uses the genuine MS-5® coded ultrasonic collar to sense your pet’s intent to use the door and opens only when the pet is on a direct path to the door. Independent inside/outside range controls let you set the exact exit and entry distances. 4-Mode Access lets you select Exit Only, Enter Only, Full Access and Closed and Locked. Optional app control lets you remotely operate the door, create 24/7 weekly schedules, monitor activity and receive real-time notifications from virtually anywhere. The quick motorized panel opens in about one second, closes safely by gravity and automatically retracts if obstructed. Its rigid bulletproof polycarbonate panel automatically locks with a steel deadbolt, while the precision sliding seal stays 100% air-tight even in hurricane-force winds. The wall-mount system provides a clean, finished passage through your exterior wall. Flexible AC or optional battery power. Proudly engineered and assembled in the USA.

This door so far is absolutely the best. it allows my dog to go in and out whenever she wants to. So far, and it's only been a week, I haven't had any problems with it. love it

Not worth $800

Installation was pretty easy, it opens and closes (mostly) when my dogs are near.

That's about it for pros, it is a glorified doggy door. We got it to help stop our cat from having free access outside, so far done its job there.

Never received a AC power cord for the door leaving me to have to find a spare one around the house. Got 2 backup batteries but really only need one since it charges, allegedly, from the ac adapter so no reason for 2. Batteries do not charge.

The app has a lot to be desired, I have a 7 month old puppy I was trying to figure out if there was a way to have the door have a delay for opening from the outside. Trying to make sure my puppy takes some time outside to go to the bathroom. No such option. Tried to create a schedule to attempt to manually do that with 15 minutes every hour that would not allow her in, just getting errors when creating the schedule.

Overall for a "high tech" door seems like the technology is from 2000 not 2026. Almost no customization for the door, and the sensor works 80% of the time.

New Door

So far it has been a good product. doesn't seem to have any issues. My dog was able use the door pretty quick. I know this is a different product than the roll up model. But if I could add a suggestion would be a solid door you could mount on the door for better security when you may go on a trip. The plastic door might keep out small animals etc. but it would take no time for someone to cut into the plastic to gain entry. just an idea. As for now, pleased with the product.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and suggestion! We're delighted to hear that your dog adapted quickly and that you're pleased with the door's performance so far.

We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback regarding additional security options. While the flap is designed to keep out weather, pests, and unwanted animal visitors, it's worth noting that the door panel is made from durable ABS material, which is the same tough, impact-resistant plastic used in many automotive and industrial applications. ABS is considerably more difficult to cut through than standard plastics, making it much more robust than it may appear at first glance.

That said, we always value customer ideas for future product enhancements, and we're grateful you took the time to share yours. Thank you again for choosing High Tech Pet Products, and we wish you and your pup many years of convenient, trouble-free use! 🐾

Lifesaver

My dog loves this door as do we. It’s a huge lifesaver and comfort knowing that our dog can go in and out while we are away at work.
For some reason, I couldn’t get our door to connect to WiFi. We have had the door for a while now, but for some reason it just got disconnected. I contacted the company for support. Michelle took care of everything. She walked me through what is called a hard reset of the door. It worked like magic and our door is working again. It was a pleasure working with Michelle and I know if we run into problems in the future all I have to do is contact customer service and they will help.
