High Tech Pet patio panels fit most standard sliding glass door tracks. Regular height panels fit door openings of 75"–80.25" tall; Tall height panels fit 92.75"–96". Measure the interior height of your door track before ordering. If you're unsure, our team at 1-800-255-1279 can help you confirm fit.

No. All High Tech Pet patio panels slide into your existing door track alongside your current sliding glass panel — no glass cutting, no structural modification, and no contractor required. Installation typically takes 20–30 minutes.

Automatic doors (Power Pet Roll-Up and Power Pet Classic) use an electronic sensor in your pet's collar to detect their approach and open the flap automatically. This keeps strays and other animals out. Manual doors (Armor Flex and DuraFlex) use a flexible flap your pet pushes through themselves — simpler, no electronics required, and extremely durable.

Yes. Every High Tech Pet patio panel includes a universal security lock that mates to your existing door frame, plus a security lockout panel you can use when you're away. Automatic doors add a second layer: only a pet wearing the paired collar can activate the door. The Roll-Up flap itself is constructed from rigid interlocking polycarbonate — it cannot be pushed open by hand.

Measure your dog's shoulder height (the top of the back, not the head). The flap opening should be at least 1"–2" taller than their shoulder height. We offer sizes for dogs from small breeds up to 200 lbs. Our product pages include detailed size charts — or call us and we'll help you choose.

All High Tech Pet patio panels feature dual-pane, Low-E glass in the panel itself — the same energy-efficient glass used in quality replacement windows. The Dura Flex in particular is designed for maximum weatherproofing, with a rare earth magnetic flap seal tested to remain airtight in winds up to 50 mph.
