We've had these doors for quite a while. We have two: one inside the house and one outside attached to the side of the house (the dogs go through a little tunnel, in effect). That's what we call the "air lock." It keeps down any drafts. And wow, they bang throught It! I just gave the re-order info to my spouse so we can replace one of the doors. Our experience has been similar to others: very nice door, but the bottom magnetic strip breaks off, and you have to buy a whole new door. Also, it would be good if it didn't come packaged with those annoying styrofoam peanuts (at least ours came that way).

I bought the extra large door for my mastiffs. It's a decent dog door, but the flap sections don't last. The bottom magnetic strip broke and keeps coming off. The company does not sell a replacement piece. I emailed the company, and my only option is a complete flap replacement, which, for the extra large door, is expensive. I would not recommend this product.

I have 2 large doodles of which my male is like a bull running at full speed. He hits this door running full speed and I’m so grateful I found this dog door with this flap. It’s thick and sturdy and seals off completely it’s just an amazing dog door. Also the customer service is amazing, Matt is so kind and answered every question. You will love this dog door I highly recommend.

Matt was awesome! He help me out with a replacement part for my dog door. Now understand these doors are build solid! Unfortunately one of my dogs breaks through it like the koolaid man “oh yeah!” Not sure how she hits it at full speed considering how solid (heavy) they are! With that being said Matt has my replacement shipped out under warranty within minutes! Thank you!
