We always had a problem with the door when the temperature dropped. Since replacing t board, it has been working perfectly (even when it hit negative 10.

it is great that Power Pet sells replacement parts for those willing to repair their own door. The circuit board came with replacement instructions and the process was very simple.

Had to completely dismantle the door with an amount of screws only rivaled by ikea (60 screws) only to find this wasn’t the problem, dismantled the door again and had to get yet another part. Directions did not mention need for extra tools (which I did not have)
