The secret to its compact design is in the segments. Our patented panel uses interlocking rigid polycarbonate sections with airtight pivoting joints. They form a strong barrier when closed, yet roll neatly into the housing above the opening. Your pet gets a generous passage. You get no swinging doors or flaps and no floor space to keep clear. For wall installations, that compact height opens up more possibilities, including beneath windows where vertical clearance matters. Ingenious engineering can also be a beautiful fit.

While proximity-based detection can open the door simply because your pet is nearby, Smart Detect™ uses the genuine MS-5® collar’s coded directional ultrasonic signal to recognize your pet’s direct approach and intention to pass through, helping distinguish between “I’m comfortable here” and “I want to go outside.”

Ultrasound is directional, like a flashlight beam. Turning that advantage into dependable pet access takes ingenious engineering. Why use the same activation distance for both? Dual Range Control lets you choose a longer activation distance outside and a shorter one inside. Precise, independent detection on each side gives you access control that fits your home and your pet’s behavior.

With 4-Mode Access™, you make the house rules. Time to come inside? Select Enter Only. Your pet can return from the yard and, once inside, stays inside. Exit Only reverses the arrangement. Enter and Exit allows travel both ways. Closed & Locked keeps the door closed and electronically locked. Your pet gets freedom on your terms.

Want to leave it open yourself? Hold Open™ keeps the panel raised when you choose. And because some pets stride through while others take their time, adjustable closing delays let you choose from 2 to 8 seconds before the panel begins closing. Give the confident commuter a quick passage or the leisurely explorer a little more time.

Pets sometimes hesitate, turn around, or pause halfway through. If Safe Close™ detects an obstruction during closing, the panel immediately retracts. It is a practical safeguard for those moments when your pet has other ideas.

Safe Return™ keeps their way home open. You may be away when plans change or your pet stays outside longer than expected. Enable Safe Return and your pet can always come home, even when schedules or manual settings would otherwise prevent entry. Your exit rules can stay in place. The welcome home stays available.

Power Pet takes a different approach. Its rigid panel travels within weather-sealed vertical guides, while airtight pivoting joints connect its interlocking segments. That panel is made from polycarbonate, the same type of exceptionally tough material used in U.S. Air Force fighter-jet canopies.
