Digital circuitry in this state of the art design provides a strong signal and maintains accuracy over all temperature ranges. It is extra rugged so it won't get damaged during your dog's "ruffhousing".

With a robust, fully enclosed ultrasonic transducer speaker, it is immersible to 6ft., and although we don't recommend immersing your dog in 6 ft. of water without scuba gear, and we don't recommend regularly swimming while wearing the collar, due to the corrosive nature of chlorine and salt, it will stay high and dry for short immersions.

The MS-5 uses our specially designed B-3V1A battery which lasts about 3 months and prevents damage to the circuitry if the battery is installed incorrectly.

 The MS-5 Pet Collar encompasses the Ultrasonic family of our exclusive Pet Activated World System (PAWS). It powers ALL Power Pet Door models, the Sound Barrier Wireless Sonic Indoor Area Fence, and the Yard Barrier Outdoor Sonic Area Fence.

NOTE: MS5 Collar ships with B-3V1A battery, which is the ONLY COMPATIBLE BATTERY FOR THIS COLLAR. Please ensure that when re-ordering batteries for this collar, B-3V1A battery is chosen.
MS-5 collars are water proof. Be aware chlorine and saltwater are corrosive, meaning metals and rubbers are likely to rust and break down (i.e. pools, ocean, etc.)

Break easily

I’ve had to order my third collar as the device has broken off! The tiny plastic on the back has very low load tolerance. If that part does not get changed , can we please get the boot/cover to cover that portion as well? That would help reinforce so much and less likely I’d be on my third in less than 2 years

The ultrasonic collars and the pet door for two

The ultrasonic collars and the pet door for two females who had used an older system with magnetic openers was easy to install and was a better choice. The dogs still come to the side door and let me act as their personal butler, but I heard that they did that so I would not feel bad about having my job eliminated by AI.

Works good but my shepherds continue to chew the collar when they are playing making it hard to keep them on since they break the plastic clasps

Hi Susan, thanks for sharing your experience. We're glad the collar works well, but sorry to hear about the issue with the clasps. You might consider using a different type of collar or additional protection to prevent chewing. Our Rubber Boot would allow you to put the transmitter on to the collar of your choice, one that would stand up to more punishment than the ones we offer. It also adds another layer of protection for the device itself.
