Collar was bought to replace the MS5 collar.
- RX10 is significantly bigger than the MS5, but seems to work ok with our small dogs (~20lbs) . Any dog smaller, the collar would probably be too big/cumbersome!
- The prongs for the E-Fence are removable if you are only using it for the pet door. However, to recharge the collar, you have to re-attach the prongs for it to connect to the charging unit (minus 1 star).
All that aside, the collar works great.

Should have come with charger made it quite expensive.

The collar has lasted roughly 4 years being used daily. It recently completely died on me and I will need to purchase another. For being used daily for the door and fence, I’m impressed. I was also able to get roughly 5 day charge out of it up until the very end. It’s light weight and I often left it on my pup 24/7 without any irritation issues.

Once he learned his fence line, I did removed the prongs and he did just fine with the beep warning only. Great product.

This collar works well however, it needs to be made out of polypropylene hard plastic or aluminum to withstand the abuse it goes through from L-XL pets going in/out of the doggy door several times daily. My Rottweiler (150 lbs keeps breaking these collars and they are not cheap to keep replacing them for the price HTP is selling for.
I recommend HTP to look into using much harder material to take abuse from pets going in/out through the pet doors.

I just finished buying the 5th and 6th RX10 collars for my dogs. I installed the door a couple years ago and the door works great.. however, the collars are garbage! At $95 a pop, this is adding up to nothing but a pain in the you know what! Absolutely disappointed! Prices increase and quality degrades.
