I quicky followed up with a second order for a door battery and spare collar batteries. Those were shipped very quickly as well. I subsequently experienced an installation problem: While all the lights came on when powered up, the door would not open - either in response to proximity of an activated ultrasonic collar (I have 2 of these) or by manual pushbutton operation. I then called High Tech Pet who - since their company was within a few miles of my home - invited me to bring my unit to them. They promptly fixed and comprehensively tested my door while I waited (about 20 minutes). They explained that there was a bad electrical connection with the motor. While I was satisfied with their service, I was disapointed that their quality assurance procedures hadnt brought this problem to light before the unit was shipped to me (although damage during shipping is possible). Everything seems to be working well now, and overall I think they offer a good and innovative product and good Customer support. I would buy from them again, and based upon initial experience I would recommend their product to others.
