First I want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience. For a small business like ours, it makes all the difference. We take all feedback we receive into consideration when making changes to products in hopes of improving what we have to offer.

I understand your frustration with the battery situation. Our batteries have gone through stringent quality control testing. We know exactly how long they should last, and we feel comfortable that they will not damage our products. Even though you may be able to locate less expensive batteries, unfortunately we cannot stand behind them, and if they were to damage your High Tech Pet Product, we would not cover the loss.

I hope this explains why we have proprietary batteries, and why they are a bit more expensive than other similar batteries.
