*I have 5 of these doors/collars in my boarding facility

#1. The prongs do not stay screwed in to the collars. You have to have them in order to charge in the port and I cannot find replacements on the site unless I want to pay almost $100 for a new rechargeable collar!
2. The Nylon fabric of both the rechargeable collar and especially on the battery operated collars are very flimsy.
3. Replacement parts are very expensive
4. Consistency is not a strong point with the doors opening each time.
5. I bought the largest doors that were offered but, they are not tall enough for the taller breeds

The new models are poor quality and tend to break easily.
The warranty policy is difficult to navigate compared to others.
I realy miss the old units.

Use it for the electric dog door, and it works great.

I L-O-V-E my PX-2. I've added 2 collars since I purchased it, for a second dog and my fosters :) the dogs love the freedom they gain from it and I love both the control and security of it!

Omigosh I am so disappointed. I love my hi tech door. I recentlyinquired and was happily told they now had a rechargeable collar for the door. Yay! I ordered it.
IT WAS USED. IT STANK. IT WAS DIRTY. Seriously!?! And I know what it stank of, because my dog rolls in it occasionally.
They sent me a dirty, smelly, used collar that looks like it could electrocute my 30-lb dog (we have a separate electric fence). It will be returned, and I don’t think I’ll ask for a replacement. I’ll stick with my old battery one until they come up with something just for the door, not the door and the fence, so it will be a more reasonable size. And when I do order, it had better be NEW.
