High-tech pet customer service is absolutely excellent! They walked me through everything. They were kind, professional, and patient. An extremely happy with the product and will be recommending it to all my dog, loving friends.

Easy Installation.
The sensor cable works fine and although it took some time to remove and replace all the screws, it was not a particularly difficult installation. In retrospect, it was probably not necessary to remove the screws on the outside of the door. Unfortunately for me, this sensor was not my problem so replacing it did not help. The issue was a lack of sensitivity particularly for the inside sensor. The fix turned out to be replacing the dogs "key" (collar device).

Although the sensor went out, it stopped working after nearly 16,000 uses. Plus it’s in a location that had high debris from the pet constantly entering. I wasn’t sure which model door I had, so I made contact with customer service at 10am est., I had a reply, and shipping info in an hour. The sensor was at my door within 24 hrs from across the country. Customer service for high tech pet is phenomenal. Buy with confidence.

I'm so thankful to the people at High Tech Pet Door. The PX-2 sensor cable was clearly marked and extremely easy to install. Door is working great for the dogs now.

The original cable failed after four years, so I bought this as a replacement. It was easy to install with the directions that came along with the product. And, outstanding customer service by Michelle. She really went above and beyond.
