The cable itself is fine, but the replace process was not as easy as the replacement directions say. I hired a handyman for the process but it still took him about an hour since the original cable was glued down with some other cables and it was difficult to take the dried adhesive off and separate the other wires.

Let me start by saying, I love my high-tech pet door and so do my dogs. Over the years I have had a few problems. The extreme cold weather blew a part in the door. No problem, Matt was to the rescue!!
He ordered my part and walked me through the process. The part was not that much money at all.
