The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I installed the new cable and spool and the door works as it should again.

I’m very thankful for a husband that can fix issues with the door rather than replace it. The last few cables I have recvd seem to be off by a couple centimeters long or short. There was a time that the cable wires were perfect but lately they are NOT. I have a kit just so my husband can adjust if they are long but the short ones sit in the repair box. Although the price has went up significantly so we may have to remove the door. Seems as if the parts a nickel and dummy is over the last year.

It didn’t solve my problem, the cable seems a bit too long and the door slams and then finally quit working in general like it came off or broke again.
