No Need to Worry about pets or small children risking injury with a Power Pet
® door because the door panel is not closed by the motor, but by an intrinsically safe, gravity closure system that uses the only panel’s own weight (less than 1.5 lbs) to close. There’s also a safety auto retract system that automatically raises the panel should it encounter an obstacle during closure.
Dual Range Controls let you set independent inside and outside activation distances. 4-way access lets you choose in-only, out-only, full-access or closed-and-locked.
Three Different Power Options: The Power Pet
® door may be powered by an AC wall adapter or by an optional rechargeable battery (Model B12V-1.3 sold separately). The optional battery keeps your door operating during a power outage and automatically recharges when power is restored. You may also power your door without a wall connection with the optionally available battery and charger kit (model CRG-12V sold separately).
Installation is Quick and Easy because you don’t install this door between the wall studs. The unit surface mounts to your door or wall. You cut an opening only slightly larger than the door panel itself. The door panel measures 8-1/4 “ x 10 “ panel to accommodate cats and dogs up to 30 lbs. Cut out size is 8-1/2” wide x 10-1/4” high with an overall size of 12” wide by 28-5/8” tall by 2” deep.
