Shock – The electric shock collar administers a small electric shock to your dog when he barks. It’s similar the static shock you feel when you cross a newly carpeted room and touch a doorknob. You wouldn’t really call it painful but once you feel it, you think twice about touching the doorknob again. In the shocking type of anti-bark collar, an electrical charge is directed to a set of metal probes on the collar.
