Our POWER PET Electric Patio Pet Door for large dogs consists of our amazing POWER PET automatic electronic pet door mounted in a pre-assembled sliding glass door insert. Made of high quality aluminum and tempered glass coated with an industrial quality "powder coat" finish, the patio door insert easily fits into your sliding glass patio door track. It features a special spring loaded top section for quick, perfect installation. Your patio door slides shut against our insert and may be locked with our security locking dead bolt. Full Weather stripping is included. The entire installation process takes less than one hour!

INTRINSICALLY SAFE: POWER PET's Lexan door panel weighs less than 2 pounds and is returned smoothly and safely by an innovative gravity return mechanism, not the motor. This intrinsically safe design also features an automatic retract system to reverse the motion of the panel if it encounters an obstruction during closing.

Your POWER PETTM Model PX-1SGR installs as quickly and easily in your sliding glass door track because it uses our ingenious FAST FIT patio door insert. Just insert the unit into your sliding glass door, release the spring loaded top with two quick thumbnail screws and it automatically adjusts itself to the height of your track.

3 DIFFERENT POWER CHOICES:
Your new POWER PETTM Door may be operated in three different power modes.
- 110 volt AC Wall Outlet: The standard POWER PETTM comes standard with a u.l. approved ac adapter. Plug the adapter into a nearby wall outlet for continuous operation.
- AC with Battery Back-up: You may purchase an optional rechargeable battery for use along with your ac adapter. If your household electricity should ever fail, your POWER PETTM Door will automatically switch over to battery operation. When power is restored, the ac adapter will automatically recharge your battery.
- Full Battery Operation: You may also operate your POWER PETTM Door with the battery only. This eliminates the need for the ac adapter or any electrical power connection. However, you will need to recharge the battery periodically. (Recharge interval varies depending upon use.) In this case, we recommend that you purchase the optional battery and a battery charger kit. With the charger kit you get a battery charger and an extra battery. Use one battery in your POWER PETTM Door and keep the other in the charger. When your door battery runs low, just swap. Battery change takes less than 30 seconds!

POWER PETTM will accept our optional rechargeable battery. You may choose to install a battery and keep the ac wall adapter plugged in
