Every time we would let our dog outside she would immediately start barking. At everything. The SUPER HUSH PUPPY lived up to its name from the first day we put it on our dog. We purchased the progressive sonic collar which I feel helped her learn right away that it was the barking that was causing the noise and she would stop. The only drawback that I have noticed is a few times things like a loud noise or if the dog scratched the alarm would go off, but that was only a few times. Our dog loves the door but the sensors do not work like they should. They advertise that you can set the sensors from 1 foot to 10 feet but I have found that the door will not open if it is set under 6 feet it just wont open. Also I find that either the battery charger does not work or the battery is bad I am not sure which but the battery died and dosnt work anymore after one week of use. I havent tried to get these problems fixed yet so I am not sure about the customer service. All in all I and my dog love the door. Just some quirks to figure out in the design still. I would definatly buy the door again.
